Erik Aguilar: Dispatcher

Dependable and passionate about technology, Erik Aguilar brings focus and dedication to his role as Dispatcher. His journey into IT began during the COVID-19 lockdown, when he used the time to earn certifications and start his tech career. Three years later, he continues to grow his skills and enjoys being part of a team that keeps things running smoothly.

His family is originally from Ecuador, but Erik is a born and raised Brooklynite whose interests reflect his energetic personality. He’s a big soccer and Esports fan, cheering for Ecuador’s national team and Cloud 9 in League of Legends tournaments. His love of gaming started early with Street Fighter II on a Super Nintendo and a PlayStation 1 that sparked a lifelong passion for video games.

Family and pets are a huge part of Erik’s life. He shares his home with one dog and two cats and recently rescued a kitten who quickly became part of the family. When he’s not gaming or watching tournaments, Erik enjoys relaxing with loved ones and recharging at home.

Looking ahead, Erik’s biggest goal is to buy his first home—a place with space for his family, a garden for his parents, and room for barbecues. His favorite music ranges from reggaeton and K-pop to Spanish ballads by his favorite artist, Chayanne. His advice for anyone: “Keep believing in yourself and don’t let people dim your shine.”
