Fairdinkum Consulting LLC, named after the Australian phrase meaning “honest” and “genuine”, is a privately held information technology services company based in New York, NY. Since 2001, our engineers have serviced small and medium size businesses with cost-effective, professional IT support and services in the New York City metropolitan area for clients including financial services firms, law firms, real-estate, non-profits, charter schools and others. Our core services include: Windows servers and desktops, Apple workstations, Exchange messaging systems, hosted “Cloud” systems, Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity Planning, firewall, routers and switch infrastructure as well as project managing other vendor services such as cabling, internet, audio/visual, security and phones. Our IT staff is broken out into several teams which are assigned to client accounts. Each client’s direct point of contact is a senior-level Managing Engineer who has several Staff Engineers directly reporting. Direct dial phone, cell and email access is provided for accessing each and every team member as needs arise. All engineers assigned to client accounts hold BS or BA’s in Computer Science or Management Information Systems. Professional certifications include CCIE, CCNP, CCNA, MCSE, MCITP, A+ and Network+; as well, we hold various other certifications, including Citrix, Checkpoint and Sonicwall. We also are authorized partners of HP/Compaq, Dell, Microsoft and various other hardware and software vendors. Fairdinkum endeavors to support, maintain and recommend services and technologies on the most cost-effective basis. By functioning as their IT departments, our clients take advantage of the decades of cumulative experience held by our engineers servicing hundreds of networks. As a result, clients save money in terms of IT expenses and increased employee productivity by leveraging technology and reducing downtime.
